Subject: importing old chat history
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: User Interface
Platform: Linux client - RHEL
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: -Reproducibility-

I recently received a new laptop preloaded with RHEL (my old laptop was Windows). I copied all my prior chat histories from my old Windows SametimeTranscripts folder to my new $HOME/Documents/SametimeTranscripts folder, but most of them don't show up. The only ones that do are the ones for folks with whom I subsequently chatted after having been migrated to RHEL.

I suspect that personfolders.xml file differences might have something to do with the old transcripts not showing up... but the communityId value is different in each xml file -- and I didn't think that just merging the two files would be sufficient.

What is the recommended procedure for importing saved chat transcripts from an earlier Notes installation to a new one?
